Week late recap
So I’m a little late, but Emily finally put up pictures so I can show you the cake we made last weekend. It was almost a cake wreck, but we managed to save it, and it turned out quite delicious.
We made a Vanilla Cake with Tiramisu Buttercream and Ganache Filling from our favorite recipe site, Love and Olive Oil. We didn’t use fondant because we didn’t think we could handle it (and it’s good that we didn’t), but maybe next time. Here it is!

We made Ganache (surprisingly easy). Amazingly delicious!
And the finished cake! It had some issues (it was a little warm) when we tried to put ganache and frosting on, so it got all melty, quite a mess. It started to slide off and got a little crooked. Oh well, it still tasted great!
